There are many sides fighting to influence our world view

We need to listen to all of them (free speech)

Including what the mainstream media refuses to cover

Mainstream media perspective

The mainstream media actively advocates for feminism. They say that women are more than just mothers and sex objects. Women have the right to empower themselves so that they reach their full potential and exist in their best selves. Feminists in the third wave have decided that men are basically trash, and that they hold women back. They say that women should not have children, at least the extremists, and that women should devote themselves to professional careers, rather than get married. Feminists also believe that women should have just as much sex as men do. They basically believe that women should live as much like men as possible.

The Other Side

One of the most important points I’d like to make is that the media criticizes men for being who they are, and yet they want women to become more like men! Illogical. Men have many wonderful characteristics that are glossed over far too often. Women have wonderful qualities too. Women are less competitive than men, more emotional, and far more attuned to the social realities of the world. But men also have their good points.

When women stayed home with their children, they were not oppressed. Imagine telling a Victorian woman in 19th-century England she didn’t have complete sway over the domestic sphere. She would have laughed in your face. There are different levels of power, and just because a woman doesn’t work in the public sphere doesn’t mean she is somehow powerless. Women are special. We have the right to stay home and let the men take care of the competitive aspect of life. Women are far better at nurturing and assuring emotional stability. Men want appreciation for who they are, just as women desire appreciation for who we are. We need a new mindset in Western society where we value women who stay at home and retain their femininity. And we also need to respect the women who are exceptions, and have something to offer in the public sphere, such as artists.
