Come, tell me how you live

· Philosophy, Popular culture

I have so many questions about what life is like in other countries. I have a bucket list of things I want to do before I die. In Egypt, I want to travel down the Nile. In Palestine, I want to visit the holy city. In Dubai, I want to stay at the Jumeirah. In Iran, I want to visit Isfahan. In Saudi Arabia, I want to visit the roads walked by Ibrahaim. I want to hear stories about people’s ancestors. I want to return to the land of my ancestors in Mumbai, India, and see how familiar it all seems to me. I want to go to Syria and see where Max Mallowan and Agatha Christie dug in their archaelogical expeditions. I want to learn Arabic. I want to sleep in a tent in the desert heat and eat rice and chicken, vegetables and hummus, and have strong tea in the morning when I awaken. I want to visit the museums in all of these countries. Come, tell me how you live.
