If someone insults you or says something negative, don’t react with anger. Try to see if maybe they are right. If not, move on. If so, thank them for their help and try to do better.

The story that the media missed is that regardless of the situation, we should act always with kindness. Gay people just want the companionship that straight people enjoy. On the other hand, some people believe gay marriage is wrong, and they have a right to their sincerely held religious beliefs. Which side do you fall on?
